This latest interview of MSNBC with Bashar al Assad is quite interesting to watch. Not because of Assad's replies, which largely follow the line of earlier interviews he gave western media, such as the one he gave the BBC, or the German ARD.
But the interviewer is quite interesting to observe. He is quite agitated, and tells the viewer what to think of Assad... (this is evident especially around minute 38) that is a classical measure of manipulation. I actually do doubt that Obama or Merkel would have allowed such an aggressive tone when being interviewed.
Either way, I recommend anyone with any interest in the Syrian civil war watches it.
